Summer in Tsartlip
That’s pronounced “Sart-lip” and it means the “land of the maples”. This is a native community near Victoria in British Columbia. In Canada, the native people are called “First Nations People.” You can read about our previous visit to Tsartlip at our website HERE.
July 21, our YWAM team and our youth group at New Hope Church in Modesto have an opportunity to partner with Youth With A Mission in Tsartlip to help run a summer program. We will help lead activities like swimming and field sports, as well as working with the younger kids of the community in crafts and games. We will also be interacting with the high school aged youth and learning about First Nations culture.
Our team needs your help! In order for our whole team to go, we need to raise a total of $3500 in the next few weeks. This will cover our travel expenses, food and lodging. Would you consider making a one time donation to help us go on this trip?
You can give on line at our YWAM Modesto paypal button over there to the right.
Or send us a check made out to: Youth With A Mission, 300 Trask Ln, Modesto, CA, 95354
No gift is too small!
